Position Summary: This is a 13 week contract for dayshift 0630-1900, 12 hour shifts, 36 hours a week with the ability to pick up extra shifts. Current Washington State license or Multi state license with the following verifications. 1) approved 6-hour suicide training. 2) Verification of demographics from Nursys. Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required. Must be a team player with experience and knowledge as an Emergency Dept nurse. We are located Close to the PNW beaches and the Olympic National Forrest. Key Responsibilities: Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency. Quickly assessing patient needs. Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. Performing minor medical operations. Cleaning wounds. Drawing blood. Maintaining emergency room care standards. Assisting with insurance paperwork. Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process. Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
