Job Description:
Amazon's Fashion and Fitness (F2) Supply Chain team is seeking
an experienced Sr. Program Manager to lead programmatic strategy
and execution for the Licensed Sports business. This role sits at
the intersection of fan demand, event-driven volatility, and
complex vendor dynamics — requiring a level of rigor and
scalability that manual processes cannot sustain at scale.
Operating within the F2 Supply Chain organization, this Sr. Program
Manager will build the strategies and mechanisms needed to drive
topline growth while managing inventory risk across a highly
seasonal and unpredictable business. The role will act as both a
program owner and cross-functional consultant, partnering closely
with Buying, Forecasting, Vendor Management, and New Brand Launch
teams to ensure Licensed Sports use cases are fully represented in
shared tooling and automation roadmaps. This role will be
responsible for managing programmatically at scale, driving
automation and process standardization, and serving as the subject
matter expert and escalation point for the Licensed Sports
category. Key job responsibilities Program Strategy & Ownership •
Lead a comprehensive redesign of the Licensed Sports buying model
for both carryover and new product ASINs, introducing tools,
processes, and mechanisms that prioritize forward-looking demand
signals — including betting odds, AWS broadcast forecasts, and
other predictive inputs — alongside historical data to drive
smarter, more proactive buying decisions • Develop and own a
structured framework for event-specific inventory participation,
defining clear criteria for when to buy in-network (e.g., Super
Bowl), rely on dropship (e.g., NBA All-Star), or abstain from
participation unless Merchant of Record rights are secured (e.g.,
Daytona 500) • Launch and govern a scalable program to automate
inventory chase levers for outperforming teams and execute pre-OIH
markdown and deals plans for underperforming teams before the
season ends while demand remains Programmatic Scale & Automation •
Identify and eliminate non-value-add tasks across Buying,
Forecasting, and Vendor Management workflows; develop scalable SOPs
and playbooks to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
across the Licensed Sports category • Build and maintain
cross-functional program resources, reporting infrastructure, and
governance mechanisms to support all internal and external
stakeholders • Drive engagement across partner programs including
Ships in Own Packaging (SIPP), Sustainability, Sub-Same Day
Delivery (SSD), High Value Inventory, Loss Prevention (LP),
Enterprise Shipping Service (ESS), and Deals/Overstock Management
Cross-Functional Leadership & Consultation • Serve as the Licensed
Sports supply chain subject matter expert and escalation point for
Vendor Management, Business Development, and SCM partners • Partner
