They should have a strong understanding of emerging technologies to develop new solutions, ensuring optimal performance across the full technology stack.The Global Digital eXperience Website Development Software Engineer is responsible for the overall design of a product and defining technical blueprints to meet specific requirements. They provide technical expertise to Product Managers and development teams, working closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Product Owners to support implementation and delivery of new or enhanced capabilities.   • Develops conceptual systems architecture and supporting technologies to enable new or enhanced functionalities, promoting availability, reusability, interoperability, and security.
  • Supports release planning activities with Product Owners and teams.
  • Identifies high-level requirements to support testing strategies.
  • Supports the Product Owner in defining enablers and work items for the architectural roadmap.
  • Defines non-functional requirements supporting epics and user stories.
  • Identifies technical dependencies across teams for new or enhanced functionalities.
  • Performs development, optimization, and automation activities.
  • Develops and implements front-end architecture for user interfaces.
  • Enhances understanding of databases, distributed architectures, UI/UX, security, and business value creation.
  • Drives engineering best practices for quality and scalability.
  • Provides solution recommendations and estimates.
  • Participates in scrum ceremonies.
  • Creates and executes unit tests, using TDD practices.
  • Estimates, plans, and manages implementation tasks.
  • Designs, debugs, and implements solutions.
  • Supports CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps automation.
  • Uses monitoring tools to analyze performance bottlenecks.
  • Develops and documents standards and best practices, mentoring junior engineers.
  • Collaborates on project specifications and release documentation.
  • Conducts peer code reviews.
  • Defines environment strategies and coding standards.
  • Supports testing activities and establishes coding procedures.
  • Supervises systems analysis and defect remediation.
  • Prepares technical documentation.
  • Mentors teams on design, automation, and architecture.
  • Provides support during critical outages.REQUIRED
  • 10+ years' experience with large-scale applications, especially enterprise B2C and B2B eCommerce.
  • Expertise in scaling applications and infrastructure planning.
  • Experience with cloud environments, preferably GCP.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and front-end technologies like React and Node.js.
  • Experience with asynchronous communication, API management, Kubernetes, and data modeling.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.RECOMMENDED
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
    • Experience with cloud solutions like GCP/Azure.
    • Internal candidates with over one year on current team preferred.Required Documents
