Data Solution Architect Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Business Solutions organization is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Solutions Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA; San Antonio, TX; or Jacksonville, FL. This Architect is a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for solving complex problems and challenges. They are driven and will have a passion for building large-scale data products. Position Responsibilities: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable databases across a variety of data domains (KPIs, manufacturing, project / program management, Safety / Quality, risk management, & business operations) Problem solve for structured and unstructured complex data problems to support a team of data analysts and data scientists Define and implement data ingestion strategies (batch, streaming), transformation patterns (ELT/ETL), and orchestration for a multitude of disparate data sources Complete data modeling for acquisition and database implementation collaborating with different stakeholders Lead activities to develop and maintain complex infrastructure systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) including data access Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) Guide other data and analytics professionals on data standards and practices Create a culture of sharing, reuse, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutions Leverage automation extensively for scalability, repeatability, and reuse This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 14 in data engineering work experience or equivalent academic related course work 9 years of experience building platforms and data products 9 years of experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions 9 years of experience with data pipeline tools and Extract Transform Load (ETL) services 4 years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS preferred) 4 years experience with the configuration of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data ingestion (FastAPI preferred) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and tooling Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GIT Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu and Amazon Web Services Experience with Python, JavaScript, & multiple SQL languages Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
