The future of shopping is agentic — AI systems that can
discover, reason about, and act on product information on behalf of
customers. Our catalog is at the center of this transformation, and
we are looking for a visionary Principal Product Manager, Tech to
lead the strategy for making the catalog the definitive source of
product and brand knowledge that powers next-generation AI shopping
experiences. As the Principal Product Manager Tech – Catalog
Strategy for AI Shopping Experiences, you will serve as the
strategic bridge between the catalog team and the broader ecosystem
of AI-powered shopping experiences. You will own the roadmap,
experimentation strategy, and long-term vision for how catalog data
— spanning product attributes, brand knowledge, usage-based
knowledge, and marketplace-level context — enables intelligent,
personalized, and trustworthy AI shopping experiences at scale. You
will establish clear frameworks for collaboration across teams,
defining ownership boundaries, shared goals, and delivery
mechanisms that enable seamless integration between catalog
capabilities and AI-powered customer experiences. This is a
high-visibility, high-impact individual contributor role that
requires a rare combination of deep catalog expertise, AI/ML
product intuition, and executive-level influence. You will define
how catalog metadata, data, and knowledge — at the item, product
cohort, brand voice, company voice, usage, and marketplace level —
fuels the ability of AI systems to deliver accurate, personalized,
and trustworthy shopping experiences for hundreds of millions of
customers worldwide. Key job responsibilities - Define product
strategy and roadmap for catalog capabilities that power AI
shopping experiences across worldwide marketplaces - Lead
experimentation programs to measure and optimize the impact of
catalog improvements on AI search quality and customer outcomes -
Drive cross-functional collaboration with AI, science, engineering,
and retail teams to align on shared goals and delivery - Establish
frameworks and standards for catalog metadata that enables AI
systems to deliver accurate, relevant, and trustworthy results -
Evangelize initiatives across the organization through leadership
presentations, strategy documents, and cross-team forums -
Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and
definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a
product - Experience technical product management - Experience
working directly with Engineers on product enhancements -
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis,

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
