W2 inclusive rate: $50-60/hr DOE and Interview

3-6 month contract work (with potential conversion)

Summary

Seeking a Salesforce.com Developer to provide technical expertise in the areas of administration, configuration, design, and development. This individual will collaborate with team members to build automated processes and solutions that are aligned with the evolving business needs. The ideal candidate must have significant development experience building both APEX code & Visualforce pages.

Responsibilities

? Advise on key Salesforce.com architectural decisions for all new solutions

? Design and execute system configuration changes.

? Translate business requirements into well designed technical specifications

? Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and design

? Develop innovative solutions leveraging APEX code and Visualforce pages

? Perform quality assurance validation of all internal deployments and monitor Salesforce quarterly releases to minimize risk of production defects

? Implement best practices and develop estimation models to better forecast costs and predictable delivery dates

? Manage multiple Salesforce environments and perform release management duties

? Perform data cleansing activities through use of salesforce.com data management tools

? Communicate effectively with stakeholders and recommend solution alternatives when needed

? Design test plans, perform acceptance testing, and provide training to end users

? Document and maintain standards and application security

Qualifications

? Bachelor?s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience required

? Minimum 2 years Salesforce developer experience required

? Minimum 5 years in an information technology role, delivering projects to internal customers.

? Web Services development skills and experience with Salesforce API

? Demonstrated knowledge of ASP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, and other web based services

? Familiarity with developing Salesforce Customer & Partner Portals using Communities

? Demonstrated understanding of ?big picture? business and departmental needs and processes and the interaction between departments and applications ? specifically Sales, Marketing, Support, Accounting and Development

? Certified Force.com developer a nice to have

? Ability to translate high level business and departmental requirements into design and development of business applications

? Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

? Team player with the ability to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
