Description
There is currently an opening on the team for a Software Engineer
(Linux). The environment is a fast paced, agile development model
and team members have a lot of latitude in how they complete
projects. You will be great for this role if you have a solid
foundation in large data systems, can program in Python, Java, C,
C++, Ruby, or PHP, and have experience working on back end
applications. This is a unique opportunity to grow your career in
software development with strong mentorship from experienced
technologists.
Qualifications:
? A B.S. Degree in Science or Technology related field plus a
minimum of 3 years? experience in software systems and development
OR no degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in software
systems and development experience.
? A minimum of 2 years? experience in large data systems including
databases, storage, and querying with proficiency in relational
(MySQL, SQL Server, etc.) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra,
etc.).
? A minimum of 1 year programming in Python, Java, C, C++, Ruby, or
PHP and experience working on back end applications.
? A minimum of 1 year experience working in a smaller, start-up
environment and can demonstrate examples of working independently;
self-directing his/her own work; flexibility and multi-tasking.
? Possesses and can demonstrate a keen interest in pursuing a
career in software development.
