experience): $21.16 - $29.53 . Job Summary Collects blood, urine
and swab specimens for use for clinical analysis, evaluations,
and/or diagnostic purposes. May work at any of Grays Harbor Public
Hospital District 1 locations. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Greets patients and instructs them in proper specimen collection
methods Draw blood specimens by using venipuncture, finger stick or
heel stick in various settings (Outpatient, ER, Inpatient) Able to
work in all lab locations when needed (MHC, SPHC, WC, ML) Processes
specimens for use by Lab Techs or for sending to Reference Lab
Perform CLIA waived testing Collects and processes Drug Screens for
Pre-Employment and NON-DOT Post Accidents Answers phone and routes
calls if necessary, to appropriate staff Assists in inventory of
laboratory supplies and stocks work area as needed Special projects
and other duties as assigned by Department or Clinic Manager which
may include duties outside of the laboratory. Organizational

Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent
required 2 years phlebotomy experience Must be trained and
proficient in all Phlebotomy/Clinical Laboratory Assistant duties
and lab locations as well as able to train others Completion of
90-day probation period with performance reviews meeting
expectations Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations
Current Washington State MA/Phlebotomist License upon date of hire.
Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Intermediate working
knowledge and competence in laboratory processes, applications, and
testing procedures. Proficient in the use of current technology,
including Microsoft Office products. Ability to learn and
effectively use electronic medical records and other systems and
equipment. Working knowledge of Medical Terminology Good
organizational skills and ability to multi-task Effective
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read, write and
speak the English language. Ability to follow oral and written
instructions. Ability to perform a wide variety of assignments that
require the use of independent judgment, problem-solving,
organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills. Shift at
times will be variable, the ability to be flexible is required.

Work Shift: SVC Contract 10 hour shifts in a 40 hour work week
