Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare seeks a compassionate and dedicated Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, providing outstanding
nursing care to patients in their homes. This role is pivotal in
assisting patients achieve their highest level of health and
independence in a setting where they feel most comfortable. As a
member of our team, you will work in a dynamic and supportive
environment focusing on patient-centered care across various cases
including pediatric, geriatric, and post-operative recovery.
Provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or
physician. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records of
vital signs and healthcare needs. Administer medications and
injections and perform routine lab tests. Assist with daily
activities such as dressing, bathing and eating. Educate patients
and their families on healthcare plans and continued care.
Regularly communicate with registered nurses and doctors to provide
updates on patient status. Ensure compliance with all health care
regulations and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Ability to
operate standard medical equipment Strong organizational and
communication skills Proficient in maintaining accurate medical
records Empathetic and compassionate patient care Ability to
respond effectively to emergencies Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current LPN license valid
in the state of employment. CPR certified.
