Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Unit: Wound Care – treating 5–15 patients per day depending on consults./n/nStaffing: Works with 3–4 other RNs in the wound care team./n/nRequired Certifications: BLS, CWON (Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse), and WA RN license./n/nCommon Cases: Ostomies, draining wounds/fistulas, pressure ulcers, vascular/arterial wounds, diabetic ulcers, surgical or trauma wounds, wound vacs./n/nMain Duties: Wound assessment, consults, treatment plans, documentation, discharge supplies coordination, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration./n/nSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, no weekends, holidays, or call./n/nOther Notes: Covers multiple hospitals, may float between facilities; Smith & Nephew wound vacs used, orientation provided.
