School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
position as a School Psychologist offers a rewarding opportunity to
support a diverse student population from Pre-K through age 22 in
Neah Bay, WA. The role involves comprehensive psychological
services within a single campus comprising three buildings, with a
caseload spanning all disabilities except communication-only needs.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and
evaluations, managing a caseload of approximately 50-68 students
annually. Perform transfer reviews and evaluation waivers with
collaboration as needed. Provide consultation and support to school
staff and families. Participate in and facilitate meetings related
to student psychological services. Offer services across a full
school day from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with
flexibility for meetings. Qualifications and Experience: Valid
School Psychologist certification or licensure applicable to
Washington state. Experience working with school-age children,
including special education populations. Strong assessment,
evaluation, and report-writing skills. Ability to collaborate
effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Flexibility to accommodate a hybrid work arrangement, with
in-person testing requirements. Location: Based in Neah Bay, WA,
serving students on a single campus with three separate buildings.
