Washington, 98315! Registered Nurse - Cardiac PCU – UHC Staffing
Registered Nurse - Cardiac PCU Location: Silverdale, WA Start Date:
03-09-2026 End Date: 06-08-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating nights (12-hour blocks), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Night shift; scheduled in 6-week blocks with every-other-weekend
(EOW) minimum; high needs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday Hours per

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality cardiac
PCU nursing care for post-op cardiac and stepdown patients
Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry strips and act on
changes promptly Safely titrate vasoactive and other drips
(nitroglycerin, heparin, milrinone, dopamine, etc.) Manage
post-procedure patients including TAVR, CABG PODs, post-cath care
and pacemaker management Collaborate with hospitalists,
pharmacists, RTs and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient
outcomes Serve as charge nurse when assigned, coordinating care and
supporting bedside staff Document thoroughly and efficiently in
EPIC and participate in required orientation/precepting Provide
compassionate patient and family education and handoffs during
transitions of care Qualifications Active RN license (able to
submit for Washington) — license to submit: yes Minimum 2 years of
PCU/Cardiac nursing experience (Cardiac experience a MUST) Current
ACLS and BLS certifications required NIHSS, CRRN, PCCN credentials
preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to titrate
vasoactive drips and manage telemetry patients Comfortable
reading/interpreting ECG/strips and working with central/offsite
monitoring Ability to work nights, EOW weekends and at least one
major holiday during assignment Team-player attitude and
flexibility to float within like units when needed Education BSN
not required (BSN Required: No) Active RN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of vasoactive medications and familiarity with common
drips Post-op cardiac patient management (CABG, TAVR, post-cath
care, pacemakers) Familiarity with ventilator/RT equipment
(CPAP/BiPAP) and collaboration with RT team Charge nurse duties and
CNA oversight Proficiency or willingness to train in EPIC charting
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and effective
