Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Silverdale,
Washington. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU -
Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work
12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every
other weekend requirement - Days work Saturday and Sunday, Nights
work Friday and Saturday • Holiday rotation requirement with
permanent staff • No call or standby requirements • May float to
Mother Baby unit • Must have Level II NICU experience with minimum
2 years experience (will consider 1 year with multiple travel
assignments) • Must be competent in couplet care in postpartum and
able to attend deliveries • Must be experienced with stabilization
and attending high and low risk deliveries and transitioning
newborns • Must have experience with postpartum couplet care
including well newborns and maternal care • Must have experience
with respiratory conditions, hemodynamic issues, bubble CPAP, tube
feeds, and substance abuse babies • Nurse to patient ratios: 1:1 to
1:3 depending on acuity • Required certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE
• Must have experience with ventilators, bubble CPAP, and high flow
equipment • Scrubs provided by facility • 8-hour compliance day
with manager and 8-hour Epic class • 2-3 twelve-hour shifts for
unit-specific orientation • Manager conducts phone interview with
traveler • Use Epic charting system • BSN not required Facility:
This medical center features a Level II NICU/Special Care Nursery
with 10 beds providing specialized care for babies born with low
birth weight, prematurity, and those recovering from serious
conditions. The facility has a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
available 24/7 and respiratory therapy staff in-house around the
clock. The unit focuses on stabilizing infants under 32 weeks
before transfer and provides comprehensive care without performing
surgeries or ECMO procedures. The facility operates as a Level 2
trauma center in an acute care setting. Location: Silverdale, WA
