NICULevel II Beds10Nurse: Patient depending on acuityRequired
Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?)BLS, NRP, STABLECommon
diagnoses/Types of patientsSpecialized care for babies born with
low birth weight, prematurity, & those recovering from serious
conditions: respiratory conditions, hemodynamic issues, Bubble
Cpap, tube feeds, feeders & growers, substance abuse babies. Below
32 weeks would stabilize & transfer. No surgeries, no
ECMO.Experience or 'Must have' skillsMust have experience with
Level II NICU experienceMust be experienced with stabilization /
attending high and low risk deliveries and transitioning newborns;
we are able to accommodate a noc nursery candidate that does not do
postpartum. Candidate would need to be able to attend both high and
low risk deliveries and care for neonates in the nurseryMust be
experienced with postpartum couplet care to include experience with
well newborns, and maternal care; Must be able to attend high and
low risk deliveries and transition both high and low risk infants.
Postpartum experience preferred , but would consider NICU candidate
that has experience in level 2 SCN and attend deliveries even if no
PP experience. Must have 2 years of experience, will consider
someone with 1 year of experience if they have multiple prior
