Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/08/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI Tech Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM • Participate in holiday rotation and standby rotation • Weekend requirements not mandatory but can volunteer • Perform an average of 28 scans/studies per day • Common imaging studies include brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, and MSK • Image patients with implanted devices and research them prior to imaging • IV skills required - must be able to start IVs • Experience in MRI cardiac, breast, and breast biopsy MRI encouraged but not required • Work with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS systems • Operate GE 1.5T and 3T scanners at main hospital, Philips and Hitachi at outpatient clinics • Cover two scanners at main hospital and three outpatient clinics • May be required to float to other areas based on operational needs • Work with radiology aides who assist MRI technologists • Radiologist available in-house • Personal scrubs required - hospital scrubs only provided to OR staff • Department-specific orientation provided • Required certifications: ARRT certification, current healthcare provider BLS certification, N95 fit tested • Washington State Radiologic Technologist License required unless ARRT(MR) achieved through ARRT Primary Pathway • ARRT MRI certification preferred with pay incentive available Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive radiology department with advanced MRI capabilities across multiple locations.
