Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for night shifts in an acute care setting. Responsibilities - Position is in an acute care hospital radiology - CT department - Performs all routine CT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients, including trauma, cardiac CT, biopsy/drain, and ablation procedures - Department has 3 CT scanners: 1 GE REV CT and 2 GE REV HD - Uses Epic EMR and Sectra PACS; experience with Epic preferred - Average daily caseload is 65-70 scans across three scanners - Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM (10-hour shifts) - Occasional floating to X-ray for ED, inpatient, or outpatient coverage may be required - Optional call coverage with a 45-minute response time - Responsibilities include performing routine and advanced CT imaging along with supporting emergency and trauma cases - Radiologist is onsite 24/7 for support - The department is supported by an imaging supervisor and shift/modality lead techs - Three-day department orientation provided at start of contract - Scrubs of any professional color permitted; hospital scrubs provided only for staff working in the OR - Holiday coverage may be required if shift is scheduled on a holiday - Returning employees must not have been employed by associated facilities within the past year - IV skills are highly valued for outpatient work Requirements - Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT Technologist - Current BLS certification required - Active ARRT RT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required - Experience with routine and trauma CT imaging required - Must be able to start IVs for outpatients - Proficiency with Windows computer software required - Experience using Epic EMR and Sectra PACS preferred - Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment - Active state or compact license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted - Copy of driver’s license must be provided for consideration - Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624320.
