Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of diagnostic and screening experience for day shifts at outpatient imaging centers; ARRT (Mammo) and BLS required. Responsibilities - Outpatient imaging center setting with potential to work at one of four locations within 15 minutes of each other - Day shifts, typically 4x10s from 7:15 AM to 5:45 PM or 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 9:30 PM, Monday to Friday - Occasional Saturday coverage may be required per contract - Average caseload of 18 mammograms per day - Performs diagnostic and screening mammography, wire localization, biopsies, and DEXA if experienced - Department equipment includes Hologic and GE DEXA units - Epic and Penrad used as EMRs, PACS system is Sectra - Radiologist on site for all contrast and procedural exams - One lead technologist at each location - May be assigned to any of the four outpatient centers, with advance notice for location assignment - Performs screening and diagnostic exams, including wire localization and biopsies as needed - Work closely with an on-site radiologist and a lead technologist - 12 hours of paid orientation provided - No call or holiday requirements - Return candidates must not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year unless previously PRN with an outside firm - Scrub or dress code details available upon assignment Requirements - Minimum 2 years of recent mammography diagnostic and screening experience - Active ARRT (Mammo) certification required - Active BLS required - COVID vaccine required - Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted - Experience with Epic, Penrad, and Sectra preferred - Driver's license required for consideration - Two professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, both with dates of employment and rehire eligibility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628306.
