Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced
MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of acute MRI experience,
ARRT certification, and BLS for a 13-week evening assignment.
Responsibilities - Work in an acute care radiology department
specializing in MRI - Evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 3:00
PM to 11:30 PM, 8-hour shifts - Scans performed include brain,
neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate,
musculoskeletal, and imaging patients with implanted devices -
Department utilizes Epic EMR and Sectra PACS; experience preferred
- Equipment includes GE 1.5T and 3T at the main hospital, and
Philips and Hitachi scanners at outpatient clinics - Average volume
of 28 MRI studies per day - May float to other areas depending on
operational needs - Holiday and standby rotation required -
Experience in cardiac, breast, and breast biopsy MRI is encouraged
but not required - Must participate in holiday and standby
rotations as scheduled - Radiology Aides assist MRI Technologists
on shift - Personal scrubs required; hospital scrubs provided only
for OR personnel - Department-specific orientation provided - N95
fit testing required Requirements - Minimum of 2 years experience
as an MRI Technologist in an acute setting - Current ARRT
certification required; ARMRIT accepted only if ARRT(MR) is also
achieved - BLS for Healthcare Providers required - State of
Washington Radiologic Technologist license required if ARRT is in
Radiology (R) or CT; license required if applicable - IV insertion
skills required - Epic and Sectra PACS experience preferred
