best.Position Summary: Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) places a
strong emphasis on the services offered by our Behavioral Health
Department. The Mental Health (MH) Clinical Supervisor will ensure
that our MH Program is delivering culturally competent services to
all consumers. The MH clinical supervisor is responsible for
ensuring accurate diagnosis/diagnoses and quality treatment is
being provided to all SIHB Behavioral Health Consumers.The Mental
Health Clinical Supervisor will be required to work in close
collaboration with both Outpatient and Residential Clinical
Supervisor(s). The MH Clinical Supervisor will work under the
direct supervision of the BHDD. In addition to providing on-going
training to the MH Clinical Team, the MH Clinical Supervisor will
be responsible for offering Co-Occurring training as it relates to
both our Outpatient and Residential Substance Use Disorder
Treatment Programs.The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor is
directly responsible for providing clinical oversight to all MH
clinical staff. In addition, the MH Clinical Supervisor will
provide ongoing collaboration and consultation with both Outpatient
and Residential Clinical Supervisor(s). In addition, the MH
Clinical Supervisor will serve as a direct consultant for
co-occurring clients who are receiving services from our SUD
Treatment Program(s). The MH Clinical Supervisor will work in close
collaboration with both the BHDD and the Traditional Medicine
Department to ensure Indigenous Psychology (Traditional Medicines)
are being woven throughout every aspect of service delivery of all
treatment programs, creating treatment environments that foster
recovery and healing for the population being served. This will
require the MH Clinical Supervisor to work in close collaboration
with the BHDD, as well as our Tradition Healing Department.The MH
Clinical Supervisor has a tremendous responsibility to ensure SIHB
is providing quality care to all consumers. The MH Clinical
Supervisor is responsible for providing on-going clinical
supervision and training to all MH and SUD providers as directed.
The MH Clinical Supervisor will work in close collaboration with
the BHDD to ensure BH Services are well integrated into all other
SIHB Departments; ensuring BH services are readily accessible to
all SIHB consumers. The MH Clinical Supervisor will place an
emphasis on developing positive working relationships with
community partners as well as surrounding tribes. the Mental Health
Clinical Supervisor will work in close collaboration with both the
Outpatient and Residential Clinical Supervisor(s). The primary role
of the MH Clinical Supervisor is to provide on-going clinical group
supervision to further develop and enhance the clinical knowledge
of the treatment team.In addition, to providing on-going clinical
didactic trainings, the MH Clinical Supervisor is directly
responsible for utilization review of all clinical cases. This is
accomplished through weekly clinical case staffing(s): ensuring all
diagnosis/diagnoses appropriately demonstrate medical necessity;
Individual Services Plans (ISP) identify goals,
methods/interventions, and measurable outcomes; and ensure all
services are being delivered in a culturally sensitive way.Along
with the primary goal of developing clinical acumen for all SIHB MH
Providers, of equal importance is to ensure clinical charting
demonstrates quality care and is completed within the designated
time frames allotted by licensing and funding agencies. In the
event non-compliance issues arise it is the direct responsibility
of the MH Clinical Supervisor to alert both the BHDD and the Chief
Operations Officer (COO) if any non-compliance issues should

clinical didactic trainingsFacilitate weekly case staffing/group
supervision for all clinical staff (ensure peer review of treatment
and clinical documentation is occurring).Provide individual weekly
supervision to associate level practitioners and/or practicum
studentsProvide on-going training surrounding clinical
documentationConduct bi-monthly quality assurance chart reviews
(internal audits) to ensure each provider remains in compliance
with governing and licensing agencies.Utilization review of all
clinical records to ensure all consumers are receiving adequate
treatment and care to address diagnosis/diagnoses. Utilization
review will be conducted during weekly clinical staffing, review of
diagnosis/diagnoses, review of Individual Service Plan (ISP) to
ensure appropriate intervention(s)/treatment(s) are being applied
to address identified goals, and measurable outcomes are being
demonstrated.Provide clinical oversight and direction for client

work, Psychology or related fieldCDP Preferred4-5 years experienceA
minimum of 4 years director experience overseeing both Mental
Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment Programs.Work
Environment: Clinic hours are Monday-Friday during normal business
hours, with evening hours (until 7:00pm) and some Saturdays. Duties
may involve long hours performing sedentary work at computer
