Job Description:
Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores Robotics team is looking for
an experienced technology product leader to support the development
and integration of advanced automation technologies. As a Sr.
Product Manager – Tech you will assist the business in determining
which business requirements can and should be automated and how
they are then integrated with other business and technical
processes. As a Grocery Automation subject matter expert, you'll
partner with operations, business, and technical teams to research
and evaluate automation solutions, define New Product Introduction
(NPI) proof of concepts, and drive implementation from concept to
deployment. Serving as the primary business liaison, you'll
prioritize requirements, navigate trade-offs, and deliver clear
executive communications with strategic decision-making frameworks.
You'll collaborate across dedicated tech teams, partner
organizations, UX design, business intelligence, operations, legal,
marketing, and creative functions to launch innovative solutions
that elevate the customer experience. Success in this role requires
a strategic mindset to analyze complex challenges, orchestrate
resources efficiently, and deliver projects that maximize
materials, energy, and workforce optimization while upholding the
highest safety and operational excellence standards. Key job
responsibilities - Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and
escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical
constraints. - Research and evaluate potential solutions in the
grocery automation space in partnership with the operations and
tech team, define the requirements and roadmap for the NPI and for
Proof of concept (POC), and drive implementation of the proposed
solution. - Manage large, complex technology initiatives especially
robotics initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant
improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating systems that are no
longer needed. - Accountable for the overall strategy of a large
program. Successfully manage all stages from concept to delivery. -
Develop programs that meet challenging business goals and/or shows
measurable improvements in efficiency or experience for customers,
employees/engineers, or business area. - Understand the
architecture of the systems you work with (e.g., workflows, APIs,
runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance
requirements). - Influence team technical priorities and business
strategy through data-driven contributions. - Communicate ideas
effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences
including Directors and VPs. Foster a constructive dialogue,
harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious
issues (build consensus). - Partner with customers, stakeholders,
and engineering teams. - Define clear goals and objectives. Drive
crisp decisions in your program area about what projects move
forward and in what priority order. - Proactively identify risks
and bring them to the attention of your team and stakeholders with
plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks. - Travel up to

while improving customer and employee experience for our Grocery

flexibility, scalability, sustainability, operational performance

with internal partner teams in all geographies to align priorities,

oversight and approvals for project technical feasibility, design
and realization. - Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving
roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery
and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering
discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a
product - 5 years of technical product or program management
experience - Experience in representing and advocating for a
variety of critical customers and stakeholders during
executive-level prioritization and planning - MBA - Experience in

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
