Job Overview:We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to address performance bottlenecks and optimize software and cloud-based systems. If you enjoy tackling challenging performance issues, utilizing innovative tools, and sharing your expertise, we'd love to have you on our team!Join our growing team in the UK and USA to develop a developer-friendly, extensible performance analysis toolkit and assist users in resolving performance bottlenecks.Responsibilities:

• Ensure our performance tools deliver automated insights to resolve issues, establishing clear 'next steps' in performance workflows.
• Become a go-to expert on performance workflows on Arm Neoverse platforms, translating technical insights into impactful tooling.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to specify and test new features.
• Create demonstrations and tests for end-to-end application performance issues.
• Develop online support documentation and code examples for developers debugging performance problems.Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of proven experience in identifying and resolving performance issues in server and cloud environments, with a solid understanding of computer architecture.
• Experience with performance profiling and monitoring tools such as VTune, New Relic, Datadog, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• A passion for writing and sharing technical knowledge.
• Proficiency in high and low-level programming, preferably in C++ and Python.Nice To Have:
  • Knowledge of Arm architecture and its differences from x86.
