At Conagra, we're known for iconic brands like Reddi-wip, Slim Jim, Angie's BOOMCHICKPOP, Chef Boyardee, Swiss Miss and more!Reporting to the plant manager at our Kent, WA manufacturing facility, local producer of pancakes, waffles, and custom griddle items, you will develop and implement overall plant technical strategies focused on engineering projects, maintenance and stores improvement programs. You will develop vertical startup processes to ensure implementation of low loss production systems and provide solutions to technical problems and recommendations for improvements in production activities. You will manage all plant technical expense budgets and work with Corporate Engineering to deliver the capital budget.What impact will you have on our business?Lead the implementation of the capital plan including the engagement of related Plant and Corporate functions such as Safety, Sanitation, Quality, Environmental, Operations, Maintenance, Finance and OperationsCollaborate with the Plant in setting delineated roles, responsibilities and accountabilities consistent with the principles of CPS.Work with Platform Engineering Director to resource projects.Conduct internal systems audits.Provide direction and lead the EM Pillar Team in the development of long and short-term plans and goals for the Plant.Participate on and lead project teams that improve safety, quality, utilization, labor relations, sanitation, costs and customer service.Give work direction and coordinate mechanical and clerical activities in the maintenance department.Do you have what it takes?Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related fieldFive years experience in Food Manufacturing.Experience leading teams and projectsRotate shifts, weekends and holidays based on our needsRelocation assistance is available for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
